John M. Byrne, CPA, ABV

John is a Director in the Valuation group at Mallah Furman. He has provided valuation and consulting services for numerous purposes including estate and gift taxation, stock options and warrants, purchase price allocation, intangible asset valuation, shareholder disputes, and litigation related matters. He has been retained as a consultant and expert witness on matters involving professional malpractice and forensic accounting matters. He has significant experience in a broad array of industries including information technology, manufacturing and distribution, construction contractors, lodging and hospitality, multi-family housing, and not-for-profit entities.

Prior to joining Mallah Furman, John practiced with local and regional CPA firms where he performed numerous valuation engagements as well as planning, supervising, and performing audits for both SEC and privately owned clients. He has extensive experience in the area of financial reporting for both public and private clients.
