Valuation Services are portrayed by many academias as being comprised of both art and science. We at Mallah Furman, take both of these elements, and with an open mind and utmost diligence, provide our clients with a quality product that can withstand the scrutiny of the taxing, judicial or regulatory authorities and serve the purpose for which the valuation is performed.

Our clients engage us to provide independent valuation services, having confidence in the quality of our report and our level of professionalism. From the time we are engaged, to the time the final report is delivered, we are actively involved with the client in assessing their business operations. This ultimately helps both parties: it helps us as valuation experts to determine the true economic value associated with the business and it helps the client in identifying the key value drivers of their business. The client may also pinpoint overlooked or underperforming value drivers and target them for enhancement. In the case when a valuation involves an investment or real estate holding company, we analyze the underlying assets of the entity to determine its net realizable value. Then, based on empirical studies and our professional judgment, we determine the applicable discounts.

Our valuation professionals are qualified experts who have distinguished themselves by earning designations from prestigious professional organizations. The designations held by our experts are ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation) and CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst), which are bestowed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, respectively, after a rigorous training program and experience requirements. Our valuation experts have more than 50 years of collective experience performing business valuations for various purposes, adhering to the standards of the professional organizations to which they belong to.
