The firm was founded by Joe S. Berkovits, CPA in 1982, with a mission of providing timely professional services at competitive fees to individuals, corporations, and large and small businesses. The firm since that time has employed seasoned professionals to meet the regulatory requirements of their clients. The Partners have a combined total of over 70 years in public accounting, handling private and publicly held small to large corporations.

Our clientele comprises a broad spectrum of the economic community and our involvement with them has afforded us a wealth of varied, in-depth professional knowledge and experience. This involvement includes developing an ongoing dialogue with our clients to keep us informed of their business activities and financial position, as well as, events that may impact their plans. In short, we become an integral part of our client’s success, often increasing our value to them by making detailed recommendations on ways to simplify accounting procedures, streamline operations and increase profitability.

Unique to the Partners and our firm is the experience and reputation earned with businesses that operate and are subject to the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Due to the number of years required to obtain such experience and reputation, we are critical and cautious when accepting any new client, and are always evaluating the continuation of our relationship. Because of this philosophy, our clients are assured of receiving quality service and advice, and most important of all, peace of mind for management and investors.

Other businesses that we serve which are subject to specialized and/or regulated industries include, the Government Accounting Office, Florida Department of Insurance, Federal Department of Education, Federal Housing and Urban Development, Florida Department of Banking, and the Division of Florida Land Sales, Condominium and Mobile Homes. Although our firm provides traditional services offered by most accounting firms, our attest and consulting experience along with the highly regulated or specialized businesses we serve, has allowed our Partners and staff to evolve their technical knowledge and provide other valuable assistance to our clients.
