Patricia L. Green Promoted To Principal Of South Florida CPA Firm Mallah Furman

MIAMI, FL, January 11, 2011 - Accounting and business consulting firm Mallah Furman, announced at their December firm meeting that Patricia L. Green, CPA, was promoted to the position of Principal.

Patricia, who works primarily out of the Firm's Miami office, has over 25 years of accounting and tax experience for small businesses, individuals and trusts, with 15 years of specialized expertise in the areas of estate and gift tax, wealth transfer, and succession planning. She serves as a key advisor to businesses, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals. Prior to joining Mallah Furman, Pat was a Partner at a local CPA firm since 1981, where the main concentration was in estate and trust tax planning and compliance.

Additionally, Ms. Green holds the designation of Certified Specialist in Estate Planning from the National Institute for Excellence in Professional Education and she is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Ms. Green is a certified public accountant with the State of Florida, and is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, (FICPA) and her community affiliations include serving as the President of the Greater Miami Tax Institute, Past President, Miami Dade Chapter of FICPA, Past President, South Dade Estate Planning Council and Chairperson of the Finance Committee?St. Louis Catholic Church, Pinecrest, Florida.
